Under The Stars On Brighton Beach

Evening folks!

Just a quick wee post from me tonight. This one is from a few weeks ago when I went to see Rod Stewart with me Mother. Here's what I wore.

As we were going to see Rod, it was only right to wear some tartan. These trainers are from Schuh and I've paired them with black frilly socks from Primark. My tribal top is one of those lost pieces that I completely forgot about until I started sorting through my wardrobe. I bought it yonks ago from Republic (or USC as it's now known). I just love the bright fiery colours and big bold red buttons.

Of course I took loads more snaps around Brighton so enjoy this lot!

Rod put on a great show and I've gotta say, I was loving his snazzy suits and shoes!

I'll be back soon with day 2 in Brighton. There will be cake, lots of cake!

I've started listing some bits over on my eBay and will be adding more over the next few days, so do check it out.

Thanks for reading :)

Luscious

Happy Sunday everyone!

I know, I know, I'm being a bad blogger again. Someone needs to invent more hours in a day! Just a quick outfit post this morning. This ones from a few weeks back. Headed into Central with Lukey, where we visited the National Portrait Gallery, ate some jumbo wedges in the very swanky Eleanor's Cocktail Bar inside the Charing Cross Hotel and then wandered around the Victoria Embankment Gardens. The skies were grey but spending time with a great friend always brightens up a dull day :) Here's what I wore.

The stripey cardigan is from H&M, Jamie jeans from Topshop - my favs, and my stripey boyfriend shirt is also from Topshop. What I really love about this shirt, apart from the fact that it's loose and comfy, perfect for those lazy Sundays, but it also features a little red star. I think it gives it a little extra character.

Now for the shoes! They're from Kurt Geiger and feature a gold tiger. Their name? Luscious - and boy are they. Unfortunately they're all sold out online, but Kurt Geiger have plenty more slippers to choose from (how about these blue velvet ones!).

That's all for this morning folks, but do enjoy these extra photos from the day - including a lovely one of my photographer Luke! Before I forget, I'm now on Instagram - FINALLY!Thanks for reading, I'll be back soon!

Foodies

Ahoy!!

Guess who has a week off work? Expect lots of posts coming atcha! Today I bring you a new outfit post. This is from a few weeks ago. I won tickets to the Foodies Festival at Battersea Park. It was quite literally food, glorious food! There was everything on offer, from freshly made sushi, to homemade retro sweets, and even some Kangaroo burgers! My friend that I went with had a really good camera which shows so much more detail, so I've been inspired to buy my own good camera (I say good, I just mean better than the one I have now). Here's what I wore.

The sunglasses and tan shirt are both from Primark. My jumper is vintage equestrian which I bought from eBay. I absolutely love the colour. I've paired it with this tribal body con skirt from Forever 21. The brown boots are vintage Bally and are so perfect!

The finishing touch is my Peace necklace by Tiffany & Co. It was bought for my 21st birthday by my Cousin/Godmother Susie. I practically wear it everyday!

Mmmmm, this sushi was amazing! I also had a really refreshing apple and raspberry mojito and we bought a bag full of yummy luxurious chocolate (Dark chocolate with lemon meringue pieces!).
