On The Knight Bus Home

Evening!

I bet you thought I'd forgotten all about you lot. I know, I know, I am a terrible blogger! To make up for it, I'm holding a giveaway over on the Facebook Page. It's quite exciting. It involves every bloggers favourite online clothing site Romwe.

All you have to do is pop a quick comment at the bottom of this item page, then pop back over to my Facebook page and stick a comment on this photo. Easy peasy! I'll be picking a winner on Monday 17th March at 9pm, so hurry!! If you don't fancy your chances at this competition, then you're in luck. This cute tee is being sold at $9.99 for today ONLY! And because I am extra awesome, you can use the following code to get an extra 10% off - 10%offcoco

Right, that's my grovelling out of the way. How about an outfit post? This one is from before Christmas. It's only taken me quarter of a year to get it up!

My brother took me to the Harry Potter Studio's for my birthday. It was literally THE most exciting day of my life! Here I am on the frigging knight bus! My blue suede fringed boots I think I bought from Barretts years ago. They're super comfy inside, like walking on clouds (or how I imagine that to feel). The floral dress is from New Look (I'll be selling it on my eBay later tonight! - or you can find it on ASOS here.), layered over a plain fuchsia top, with a black vintage horse riding jacket and my Louche coat from Joy. Oh, not forgetting my Butterbeer!

It was such a fun day, I loved every minute and was very sad to see it end. I don't want to spoil the experience for those of you who are yet to visit, so here is a very small selection of my favourite snaps (seriously, I took photos of literally everything). Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for reading. Don't forget to head over to my Facebook page and enter the giveaway!!

Style Steal - Alesha Dixon in china blue.

Alesha Dixon attended the launch today for the new series of Britain's Got Talent sporting this beaut of an outfit.
I was straight onto Alesha on Twitter to find out exactly where today's get up was from. It is Roberto Cavalli. Initially I thought this was a dress, but after a bit of research found that it is in fact a shirt and skirt combo. There is also a gorgeous blazer and floaty maxi skirt to match too!
This set would cost you almost £2,000! Fortunately for you, I've scoured the internet for cheaper alternatives.
Matalan have some great China blue pieces. I particularly love those knickers at a bargain price of £2.50!
A little bit higher up the price range is Topshop with these detailed delights. I'm all a-flutter over that dress.
And finally, my online fashion site of the moment, Romwe.com. That first blouse is what first attracted me to do this blog post on Alesha. It's sat in my wish list just waiting for my next paycheck to arrive.

To end today's update, how about enjoying this vintage gem from T'pau!

Style Steal - Zooey Deschanel in New Girl

One of my favourite TV wardrobes is from Zooey Deschanel's character, Jess Day, in New Girl. I had been lusting over her navy double breasted coat for some time.
I have great news for anyone else who's heart has been skipping a beat with each episode Zooey wears this coat. I found this fab lookalike over at Romwe.com. What makes it even better is that it is already in the sale with 52% off AND you can get an extra 10% off by using code APR10% on all orders over $60!
The coat is also available in a classy red if you wanted something a bit more vibrant and the fur collar is detachable. I have bought the coat for myself and can confirm it is a delight to wear. Made in a very soft almost velvety material and is light but warm - perfect for the transition from winter to spring.
Romwe have become a new favourite fashion site of mine, uploading new products everyday, offering free world wide shipping on all orders, no matter how much you spend, and sending lots of vouchers if you're signed up to their mailing list.

If you can't afford a shopping spree, then why not update your wardrobe by attending SwapAholicsUK's clothing swap in May! Bring just £5 for entry and any clothes which you no longer want (make sure they're still in good condition for someone else to want) and then swap til you drop!!
I've been to a few of their events and always come back with some great new pieces to update my closet. This next event will be held in East London near to Hackney Wick station. If you can't make this event then make sure you like their Facebook page as another swap shop date will be announced soon!

Lastly, I've decided to make a Facebook page of my own for the blog. Everyone else has one, so why shouldn't Captain Charghley!! There'll be a new outfit post coming very soon.

Thanks for reading :)

2 Days in Paris

A few weeks ago I visited the beautiful City of Paris with my housemate Luke. Prepare yourselves for exclamation marks after every sentence! This is me trying my best to look French but probably coming across more English than ever!

My blouse is from Romwe, my new favourite place to shop. They add new pieces everyday and I fall in love with everything! We all know I love all things nautical so this blouse just screamed my name! The hat I got from a vintage fair in Shoreditch last year. I ended up 'accidently' leaving my hat behind, so I've HAD to book another trip over to Paris.

On our first night we met up with 2 other friends, Denise and Gregoire, who were also over from London. We spent part of the evening on the Pont des Arts, a really lovely bridge where all the cool kids seem to hang out. It's covered in padlocks etched in lovers names to symbolise eternal love.
The next day we were taken on a tour to cute cafes and fab vintage shops by my French twin Béryl. In one vintage shop I bought myself 3 pairs of shorts, a skirt and a shirt all for under 16 Euro - Bargain! The food over there is delicious and so much cheaper than London and don't even get me started on the wine!! We even went in to Chanel - so amazing!!! These cool stripey podiums were at the Jardins du Palais Royal.
Took a little walk past the Moulin Rouge (Where my arse was checked out!)
And how could we not go and see the Eiffel Tower. We packed a picnic of a selection of cheeses, saucisson, wine and chocolate. Béryl brought along her ukulele and we had a little singsong whilst watching the Tower sparkle.
A massive thank you to Béryl for being an amazing host and for agreeing to let me come visit again next month! I have never been so sad to come back to London (and I do love London).
Come back tomorrow for another outfit post. Thanks for all the comments, I do read them all and try my best to reply and check out your blogs too. <3 And don't forget to check what II'm selling on eBay, will be adding more stuff in a few days time!

The Original Tour Box Office

As the end of exam celebrations are dying down, I am finding more time to post looks onto my Lookbook and Chictopia accounts and to do some more blogging. Here's what I wore to The Other Art Fair last weekend.

My first ever Romwe purchase finally arrived! This double breasted blouse is faultless in this seasons most popular colour, mint green. I love the big laced collar too. It also perfectly matches my green Faith shoes which I wore to my prom 6 years ago! After watching Tim Burton's Dark Shadows I decided to bring back the 70s in these High waisted flared jeans from Forever 21.

Don't forget to check out the Facebook event page for this exciting new Clothes Swapping event happening in London next month! If you can't make this one, then why not like the Facebook page to be told of more events in the future!
