Bang Bang My Heart Goes BOOM!

So last night I went to go watch a fantastic singer called Josh Weller at the Jazz Cafe in Camden. The gig was part of HMV's Next Big Thing Tour and he was joined on stage, at the end, by Boy George!! Pretty amazing stuff. I've seen Josh live quite a few times now and I do recommend everyone to go have a listen to his stuff! Anyway, I always like to make an effort with my outfit for Josh's gigs as he, himself always looks splendid, so going with a nautical theme, here's what I wore last night

My navy blue dress I brought from eBay and is originally from New Look. It has little red anchors all over it. I remember seeing this dress on New Look's website around 2 yrs ago and I knew I just had to have it. Unfortunately it was all sold out on there but EBay always comes to my rescue. I've teamed it with navy tights and red Converse, which are also from eBay. I've gone a bit Converse mad recently but I'll tell more a bit later. My boat pendant necklace is also from New Look and my red blazer was brought from Toyshop a few years ago and was also made in white. The nautical look is my absolute favourite and I love how it just keeps coming back every year!

This is the back of the dress which features cute little red buttons. I could probably get away with wearing the buttons at the front. Also in this photo I'm trying to show off my hair. My housemate Ednora done it for me - she's like a magician when it comes to styling hair.

As Valentines Day is just around the corner, I thought I'd show the love with my new obsession over Converse. These were all brought second hand from eBay except for the yellow pair which were brought brand new from Office. I just love wearing Converse as they go with anything - Jeans, Dresses, Shorts, Skirts. Also their available in different colours/patterns and you can buy them hi or lo tops.

To finish, here's a photo I took last night of the lovely Josh Weller. Click on the photo to watch a video my friend Russell filmed of Josh playing at The Flower Pot. The song is called Limbo and features the lyrics used on the name of this post - Enjoy!
