Hot Tramp, I Love You So!

Today is David Bowie's 65th birthday, so what better way to celebrate than to have him on repeat and wear his face.

I bought this Amplified Bowie tee about year ago from TKMaxx. Wearing it today got me thinking about how essential it is to own retro band tees as they'll never go out of fashion. 30+ years after these artists first hit the music scene, they're are just as popular today.

H&M do some great tees featuring Madonna, The Beatles and Pink Floyd, priced at £4.99 and £9.99. Topshop also do some although they are a bit more pricey, at £22, but have some interesting designs.

I particularly like the Def Leppard one with the back motif. A music lovers wardrobe is not complete with some Beatles (I should know, I have about 10!)

And girls, just because they're made for men, doesn't mean we can't wear them too. I find that sometimes a man's tee has a better fit.

Style Steal - Daniel Craig (as Mikael Blomkvist)

This is one of those rare occasions where I write an update aimed for men. The subject of this post is Daniel Craig, or more accurately, Mikael Blomkvist - his character in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. His style is warm and comfortable, perfect for these cold winter days and very easy to imitate.

The key piece he wears is a thick knitted cardigan with the shawl like collar. Topman does a very similar one for £42 but you can find them in most shop as they're very popular this season. Below are some examples of where to find some more of these key pieces.

Russell Brand - Oscars Style Steal.

Lets all just have a reminder of what Russell Brand wore to the Oscars last week and how he dressed up the check shirt.

 I know some people aren't a fan of his look here, but I love it! This is definitely how I'd like my boyfriend to dress. For any guys out there who also love this look, or any girls who want to get their boyfriends in on the act, I've scowered the online shops for some similar items

 I didn't manage to find his shirt with the black collar, but I did find this bright number for all the daring guys out there.

The NME Awards were held on Wednesday night and the winner of the Most Stylish award was Brandon Flowers. Here's exactly why

Spirit Day

In light of Spirit Day today Me and my friend Kevin took to the streets of London wearing our best purple clothing. Well actually, Kevin was wearing MY jumper and MY jacket, but their both men's clothing so it doesn't really matter.



My purple polka dot top is by Henry Holland for Debenhams with a plain black long sleeved tee from primark underneath. The black shorts are high waisted and from Topshop with purple tights by Pretty Polly and black army style boots from Shoe Zone. Oh and not forgetting my scarf which I bought from New Look.



Kevin is wearing my purple jumper which my Mum bought for me, not sure where from. I like to wear men's jumpers because they just seem to have a nicer fit to them. I don't like jumpers that are too tight, I prefer them to be baggy and more comfortable. The purple checked shirt/jacket is originally from Topman but I bought it from EBay.

I hope you all wore something purple today in memory of the people who took their own lives. R.I.P.
