Leighton Meester - Style Steal

Leighton Meester was photographed on the Gossip Girl set yesterday in New York wearing this eye catching outfit.

It's a great look for those transitional cooler days/nights from summer to winter. The main piece in this outfit are the high-waisted, wide leg trousers. Their made of a light material and are perfect for keeping your legs covered when its not quite hot enough for mini skirts and shorts, but are also breezy as we're not quite in fur coat wearing season just yet. Happy Birthday Ednora!

So last night we celebrated my housemate Ednora's 21st birthday in Central London. Heres what I wore

 My dress is from Primark. People can't really seem to believe its from Primark as its so pretty, but it is Special Edition. I really love the colour. My wide eye expression is due to the fact this photo was taken at around 4am and I din't want any drowsey-ness. This dress reminds me of the blue Versus dress as worn by Leighton Meester what with the bright blue colour and straps across the waist.

My shoes are by Matthew Williamson from his Butterfly Collection for Debenhams. I spotted them in a magazine and knew I just had to have them and lucky for me there was 20% off on the day I bought them!

Serena vs Blair

I have been catching up on recent episodes of Gossip Girl and like every other episode I've ever watched, I've fallen in love with the outfits. But its got me wondering - who do you all prefer? Serena or Blair? I myself am more of a Blair girl.

Serena

Serena definitely loves to flaunt what shes got with extra short shorts/hemlines and very low v-necks. She also has a lot of fun with bold patterns and quirky accessories.

Blair

  Blair tends to keep her colours simple and her hemlines are usually longer than Serena's. She has such a classic ladylike look. I would definitely pick Blair's wardrobe over Serena's - but who would you pick?
